Utah Package - Ogden, Utah

UPI is located about 12 miles off the eastern shore of the Great Salt Lake where they use solar evaporation ponds to collect sulfate of potash, a vital nutrient for growing fruits, vegetables, turf, and other high-value crops. Here they produce more than 400,000 tons per year using all-natural solar evaporation and other organic-approved processes.

The lake makes this area home to one of the largest Sulfate of Potash producer in the United States (Great Salt Lake Minerals) and all of the top producing Salt companies in the United States including North American Salt, Cargill Salt, Morton Salt as well as several others.

The lake produces many important minerals amongst which are of course many kinds of Salt and Sulfate of Potash.
