Bagging Services

At both Dakota Packaging Inc. (DPI) and Utah Packaging, Inc. (UPI) our primary business is bagging bulk powders or small granular product (Animal Feed, Fertilizer, Salt etc.) into various size bags such as 30#, 50#, 2,000# bags.

We package product from Mosaic in Carlsbad, NM and Intrepid Potash in Carlsbad, NM.  We also package Salt into 50# and 2,000# tote bags for customers.

At our Carlsbad, New Mexico facility we offer Contract Packaging. You can purchase the product from the manufacturer and we will pick it up and bag it (50# or 2,000#) for you and load it on your truck. We have been doing this for our customers including our original customer IMC and then Mosaic for over 11 years. 

Our customer usually have us use our bags to package their bulk product for them but we will package into the customers bags or help the customer design a bag that suits their needs.  We can attach special labels onto the bags or print lot codes or other numbers and letters on with an ink jet printer.
